数学学院邀请上海师范大学周鹏教授作学术报告

       应JN江南官方数学学院副院长吴楚芬教授的邀请，上海师范大学周鹏教授于10月17日下午1点，在腾讯会议（590560277）开展了题为“On a Lotka-Volterra competitive patch model”的学术报告。吴楚芬教授主持线上学术报告会，学院微分方程方向老师及研究生参会。整个学术报告精彩纷呈，理论与应用相结合，引起了师生热烈的反响。报告后，周鹏教授针对研究生和年轻博士老师们提出的疑问，开展了专门的辅导，并确定了合作的研究内容。

       报告简介：A Lotka-Volterra patch model describing the competition between two aquatic species is investigated, where organisms are supposed to take both random and advective movements. The global dynamics is determined in different settings of parameters, where sufficient analysis on the principal eigenvalue is performed to determine the local dynamics of the boundary equilibria and a technical approach is developed to establish the nonexistence of any positive equilibrium for any number of patches. This work can be seen as a further development of a series of works on the corresponding space-continuous PDE model.

       周鹏教授简介：上海师范大学数学系教授，博士生导师。2015年获上海交通大学理学博士。2015-2017年受加拿大北大西洋数学科学研究协会（AARMS）资助从事博士后研究。主要从事微分方程与动力系统领域的研究，围绕无穷维竞争系统全局动力学做出系列工作，部分结果发表在JMPA，JFA，JDE，SIMA，SIAP等国际数学期刊。主持国家自然科学基金委优青项目、面上项目，上海市科委基础研究项目等。曾入选上海市东方学者特聘教授及跟踪计划。
